Cole Aldrich joined the Kansas Jayhawks in June of 2007, after leading the Jefferson High School team to the Lake Conference and Section 2AAAA titles. Aldrich was named to the McDonald's and Parade Magazine All American Teams.  He was named Minnesota Player of the Year by Gatorade, the Pioneer Press and the StarTribune.   In 2008, Aldrich helped lead his Jayhawks to the Big 12 regular season and tournament championships, and the Final Four.
