What: Jefferson Backcourt Club Booster Meeting
When: May 1st at 7:00 pm
Where: Jefferson Media Center
Parents of incoming freshmen and parents of returning high school players are encouraged to attend to receive information about the 2011-2012 high school season.
We plan to formalize a Board for the Backcourt Club and are seeking nominations until April 29th for those who are interested in serving on the Backcourt Club Board or on a Special Committee. The goal of the structural changes are to get more families involved in the planning, decision making, and fundraising activities of the Backcourt Club.
Attached you will find brief descriptions of the 5 Board positions (President-captain’s parents, Vice President, Treasurer, Co-Treasurer, Secretary and more information on the Committees for the 2011-2012 season. The Officers of the Board (to be elected in May of each year) will be active, working positions with responsibility to be actively involved with one or more of the Committees. The Committees may change from year to year as the desires and goal of the Backcourt Club change.
Please respond (either via phone call or email to the parties below) on or before April 29th if you are interested in serving as one of the Officers on the Jefferson Backcourt Club’s Board or on a specific committee. You may nominate yourself to be electedas an Officer of the Board.
